Day 1

Arrive at Christchurch International Airport where you will be met by your South Island driver then enjoy the city sights of “The Garden City” as time permits

• Bridge of Remembrance
• Sumner Beach
• Port Lyttleton
• Cathedral Square

Day 2

Depart Christchurch for Fox/Franz Josef Glacier, crossing the Southern Alps, before heading down the rugged coast line of theWest Coast

Highlights Include:

• Journey through the World Heritage Westland National Park
• Visiting a Jade Factory in Hokitika Walk to the Glacier

Optional Extras Include:

• Overnight in Fox/Franz Josef.

Day 3

Depart Fox/Franz Josef for Queenstown passing through the native forests of the Westland National Park.

Highlights Include:

• Lake Wanaka
• Cromwell Orchard shop and sampling the delightful fruits of Central Otago
• Visit the world famous Hackett Bungy Jump
• Queenstown city sights.
• Overnight in Queenstown

Day 4

Spend the day in Queenstown (Drivers compulsory rest day)

• Overnight in Queenstown.

Day 5

Depart Queenstown for the breathtaking Milford Sound (said to be the most spectacular road trip in New Zealand) and enjoy a lunchtime cruise amongst the fiords before travelling back to the beautiful lake resort of Te Anau.

Highlights Include:

A two hour boat cruise with lunch in one of the most remote, stunning spots in the world amongst towering peaks, outstanding waterfalls

Day 6

Depart Te Anau for Oamaru travelling through some typical New Zealand country side.

Highlights Include:

• Visit Dunedin’s famous rail station
• View (and walk up) the steepest street in the world
• Visit historic railway station
• Visit the world famous Moeraki Boulders
• Sights in Oamaru including historic Oamaru stone buildings

Day 7

Depart Oamaru for Christchurch traveling through the spectacular MacKenzie Basin and the beautiful farmlands of the Canterbury Plains.

Highlights Include:

• Visiting Lake Tekapo and the most photographed church in New Zealand, “The Church of the Good Shepherd”
• Pass through Mount Cook National Park with a photo stop at Lake Pukaki
• Overnight in Christchurch.

Day 8

Depart Christchurch for for Nelson via Kaikoura travelling through Canterbury vineyards and along the spectacular rugged east coast before heading on to the town of Picton and through to Nelson via the beautiful Perlorus Sounds.

Highlights Include:

• Visit to the seal colony in Kaikoura
• Travel through Queen Charlotte Sounds
• City sights in Nelson.

Day 9

Depart Nelson for a day trip to Abel Tasman National Park

Day 10

Depart Nelson forWellington in the North Island. Travel to Picton and transfer by road/rail ferry on a 3 hour crossing of Cook Strait. Overnight in Wellington

Day 11

Free day in Wellington (Drivers compulsory rest day)

Overnight in Wellington

Day 12

DepartWellington for Rotorua via the Plimmerton Coastline and beautiful Lake Taupo

Highlights Include:

• Rotorua City Sights

• Visit to the thermal wonder world of Rotorua.

• Overnight in Rotorua.

Day 13

Depart Rotorua for Auckland via Tauranga (the fruit capitol of New Zealand)

Highlights Include:

• City sights around New biggest city
• Overnight in Auckland

Day 14

Final day in Auckland before departing from

Auckland International Airport.
