TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1

Arrive at Christchurch International Airport where you will be met by your South Island driver then enjoy city sights of “The Garden City”

Highlights Include:

  • Mona Vale Rose Gardens
  • Cathedral Square
  • Arts Centre
  • Cashmere Hills Lookout
    • Bridge of Remembrance (subject to available time).
    • Overnight in Christchurch.

Day 2

Depart Christchurch for Queenstown traveling through the beautiful farmlands of the Canterbury Plains and the spectacular MacKenzie Basin

Highlights Include:

  • Visit Lake Tekapo and the most photographed
  • church in New Zealand, “The Church of the Good Shepherd”
  • Pass through Mount Cook National Park with photo stop at Lake Pukaki
  • Visit a Cromwell orchard shop and sample the delightful fruits of Central Otago
  • World famous Hackett Bungy Jump
  • Queenstown city sights

  • Helicopter snow landing on Mount Cook

Day 3

Depart Queenstown for the breathtaking Milford Sound (said to be the most spectacular road trip in New Zealand) before travelling back to the beautiful lake resort of Te Anau.

A half day boat cruise with lunch in one of the most remote, stunning spots in the world amongst towering peaks, outstanding waterfalls

  • Jet Boating across two lakes
  • Overnight in Te Anau.

Day 4

Depart Te Anau for Oamaru through some typical New Zealand country side with a stopover in Dunedin.

Highlights Include:

  • City sights in Dunedin
  • Stopover at Moeraki Boulders
  • Visit to the historic precinct in Oamaru to see its famous stone buildings

Optional Extras Include:

  • Evening visit to the famous Oamaru Penguin colony

Day 5

Depart Oamaru for Christchurch travelling through the spectacular MacKenzie Basin and the beautiful farmlands of the Canterbury Plains before departing from Christchurch International Airport
