TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 - Welcome to Lisbon

Reception at the airport.

Transfer to the hotel and check-in.

Rest of the day free.

Accommodation: NH Campo Grande 4* or similar

Day 2 - Lisbon

Full day tour in Lisbon. Panoramic tour in downtown Lisbon which includes Rossio Square, Terreiro do Paço Square and visit of Lisbon’s Cathedral and St. George’s Castle.

Free time for lunch.

In the afternoon visit to the Belém district to visit the Jerónimos Monastery and the Belém Tower one of the symbols of the city both from the 16th century and both UNESCO World Heritage sites..

Day 3 - Lisbon / Sintra / Cascais / Lisbon

Sintra is a magical town close to Lisbon which is worth visiting at least once in your life. Visit of the Pena National Palace, the most iconic monument of Sintra, built in one of the highest points in the region surrounded by a natural park of untold beauty, followed by a visit to the town’s centre, the ideal place for free lunch. In the afternoon trip to Cabo da Roca Lighthouse situated in the most western point of continental Europe and then the gorgeous town of Cascais considered the French Riviera of Portugal. Return to Lisbon.

Day 4 - Lisbon / Évora

Depart Motueka for Franz Josef / Fox Glacier via the wild and beautiful coastline of the West Coast

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.

Trip by train to Évora. Morning for Tour Évora’s centre, including the Bones Chapel, the cathe-dral, Giraldo Square.

Free lunch.

After lunch there will be a visit to a local wine estate with tasting and return to Évora

Rest of the day free.

Day 5 - Évora / Mérida / Seville

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.

Trip to Mérida, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit of the roman theatre and tour of the centre.

Stop for free lunch.

After lunch trip to Seville and check-in at the hotel.

Rest of the day free.

Accommodation: NH Sevilla Plaza de Armas 4* or similar

Day 6 - Seville

Breakfast at the hotel.

The day begins with a guided tour of Seville to visit the Cathedral, Giralda, Alcazar and the Santa Cruz quarter.

Day 7 - Seville / Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.

Morning free to enjoy Seville.

In the morning trip to Madrid by train (AVE—high speed train) 3-hour trip. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check-in.

Rest of the evening free.

Day 8 - Madrid

Breakfast in the hotel.

Madrid is one of the world’s most vibrant and seductive cities. Today a local guide will meet the group in the lobby of the hotel for a full day tour of Madrid. In the morning the group will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city. At the end of the morning the mini bus will leave the group in the centre for a walking tour to visit some of the capital’s most impressive sights: the Plaza de Oriente, the historic quarter including the 17th century Plaza Mayor, a wonderful Baroque square lined with arcades and picturesque cafés with a stop for a free lunch or snack. Free lunch.

In the afternoon visit to El Prado Museum that houses some of the world’s finest art.

Day 9 - Farewell

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.

Transfer to Madrid airport.
